If your relationships feel strained, communication keeps breaking down, or you’re navigating a life transition that’s harder than expected, therapy can help you regain clarity and direction. Annika provides a calm, thoughtful space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin making meaningful changes. Upon meeting her, many describe her as compassionate and understanding.

Annika works with individuals, couples, families, and young adults who want more than surface level coping. They want insight, practical tools, and lasting improvement in how they relate to themselves and others. Her style is warm, attentive, and grounded, helping clients feel comfortable while also moving toward clear, actionable progress.

Clients often choose Annika because she is easy to talk to and deeply present. She listens carefully, identifies patterns quickly, and helps clients connect the dots between their past experiences, current challenges, and future goals.

Prior to her clinical training at Northwestern University in Marriage and Family Therapy, Annika worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician providing applied behavior analysis services to children and families. This experience strengthened her ability to understand behavioral and emotional patterns, support emotional regulation in both children and adults, and collaborate effectively with families to create sustainable change.

She brings this structured, results-oriented lens into her therapy work, balancing empathy with practical strategy. Her area of focus is Young Adult transitions, identity, and life direction, Children and Adolescent behavioral concerns, Relationship and communication challenges, Couples therapy and conflict resolution, Family dynamics and parenting support, and Cultural identify and its impact on relationships and self worth.

Annika’s approach is collaborative, culturally attuned, and strengths based. She helps clients not only understand what’s holding them back but also equips them with the tools to move forward with confidence.

She is a strong fit for clients who want a therapist who is approachable, thoughtful, and engaged, someone who creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment while also helping them achieve real, measurable growth.
